Hello Parkdale!!!!!

So great to see that some of you are posting. I am really looking forward to meeting you Thursday.

I want you to start thinking about your "second skin"...
Who are you? How do you communicate with the world? What do you want to hide and what do you want to reveal? How do you express your identity through your clothes?

Do you have a secret identity?

Who are we?

The Digital Threads Network is a group of 25 individuals, under the age of 25, working together to learn, share and utilize information about electronics and textiles.

Inspired by a pioneer in the field of electronic textiles and responsive garments - Joanna Berzowska - they will participate in a workshop lead by Berzowska in October 2007 held at InterAccess Electronic Media Arts Centre in downtown Toronto. Participants will have the opportunity to draw from ideas in Berzowska’s work; her techniques, concepts and working philosophies. As well, students will have access to Berzowska, and each other, via this blog in order to develop their own ideas and create projects collaboratively.
